Jargon-busting technical copy for Kris Weavill

The site still feels like me and it says what I do as clearly as humanly possible. Rory struck a good balance with the copy, it has to appeal to a lot of different stakeholders in different areas of the NHS. He pulled it off beautifully!
— Kris Weavill, Diagnostic Systems Consultant

The British National Health Service (NHS) helps one million people every 36 hours. The amount of expertise that takes is nothing short of miraculous. As such, the NHS produces some of the most skilled medical technicians on Earth.

One such expert is Kris Weavill, Diagnostic and Imaging Systems Manager at North Lincs and Goole NHS Trust. When he decided to take those skills and side-hustle as a consultant, I was asked to rework his website copy.

My gigs with the University of Cambridge back in the day taught me a lot about expressing technical concepts in plain English. Kris’ finished website is clear and accessible, while still conveying the depth of his IT knowledge.

Brands, even personal brands, don’t have to hide the expertise that drives them. If you nail the copy you can fine-tune your message, in exactly the right language, to the absolute ideal audience.

No matter how technical your subject matter may appear, I made it work for Kris and I can do the same for you.
